HUAYRA CODALUNGA SPEEDSTER: BETWEEN NOSTALGIA AND INNOVATION

In the heart of Emilia-Romagna, where the Italian hills hold secrets of legendary engines, Pagani reveals a piece that seems to have come from a dream: the Huayra Codalunga Speedster. It's not just another car in the firm's collection, but an ode to essential beauty, to the purity of lines and the lightness that evokes the golden age of motor racing.

Inspired by the racing prototypes of the mid-20th century, this Speedster is the convertible interpretation of the Codalunga coupé, a model that had already been internationally recognized for its design in the most select settings of automotive elegance. Its elongated, slender silhouette, free of superfluous ornamentation, seeks to capture that era when speed was not at odds with the poetry of form.

Its profile begins with a low, curved windshield, continues with windows reminiscent of Le Mans racing cars, and culminates with a removable roof that draws the perfect shape of a water droplet. Each surface flows with a naturalness that is only possible thanks to materials such as Carbo-Titanium and Carbo-Triax, where engineering is transformed into art.

The interior confirms Horacio Pagani's philosophy: uncompromising craftsmanship. Hand-worked leathers, metals sculpted with the precision of a jeweler, and embroidery inspired by the iconic four-exhaust signature of the house. A detail that borrows the language of haute couture and translates it into the automotive world with over 450,000 hand-made stitches, visible on the seats, panels, and central console.

At its heart is an 864-horsepower twin-turbo V12, developed in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, capable of reaching 350 km/h. However, what distinguishes the Codalunga Speedster is not only its brutal performance, but the harmony with which it unites power, aesthetics and emotion.

Only ten units will be produced, each born from the Grandi Complicazioni workshop, where customization knows no bounds and each client, together with the Pagani team, writes their own version of beauty. A car that is not driven, but lived as a unique work of art.
